Greetings, I am in the middle of a dilemma. Our great-great-grandmother was Martha Dawes. She married Rev. Jacob Van Arsdale 28 Sep 1840, had twelve children and settled in Tyre, Seneca County, NY. She was born in either 1811 or 1823. We are not sure which because we are not sure of her parents. They were either Jacob Dawes and Martha Hearsey or they were John Dawes II and Catherine Porter. If anyone can help us with this we would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thanks Rose
